On April 23 we birded southern Benton County & found:
at Crow Butte / Umatilla NWR:
1 Black-bellied Plover in breeding plumage
11 Least Sandpipers
2 Black-necked Stilts
14 American Avocets
6 Gr White-fronted Geese
over 100 Caspian Terns
at Whitcom Island / Umatilla NWR:
4 Western Kingbirds
4 White Pelicans
1 Eurasian Wigeon
