Eric,

There was a somewhat gusty onshore wind last Friday afternoon (5-6pm).
I did not estimate it there at the time, but I have in my notes from
Bowerman Basin that I guessed to be approx. 15mph at the latter
location. There were several surfers working the waves near the
Westport jetty that afternoon if that is any indication, but it was by
no means stormy. In fact, it was mostly sunny at times.
