I had a hike in the fine weather this a.m. and had company of Clark's
nutcrackers at the top (yes, they succeeded) and one junco. There was
much birdsong in the forest: flicker, chickadee, a little wren--cd have
been winter (small! and all brown--what do you guys think?).
