There are a m/f pair of Yellow-rumped Warblers in my cherry tree, about
12 feet from me as I type. This is a first for me, but I don't know what
else they could be. Grey, sparrow sized, yellow crown, throat patch and
rump patch. White and yellow on the sides, all more pronounced on the
male and he had the dark breast just like in the book. They've been
flitting from tree to tree(A plum and two Cherry). Do they nest in nest
boxes? I've been meaning to build some, but all I ever see here is House
Sparrows, Finches and Starlings. I don't know if they're looking for a
nest site, but it would be pretty cool if they did it here.
