Hi All,
Today Margie Palmer and I took a morning walk on Spencer Island. Its
been awhile since I've been out and so it was nice to see some of our
returning Spring migrants. The island seemed fairly quiet with the
exception of singing Common Yellowthroats and Marsh Wrens. Our full
list includes:

Pied-billed Grebe
Great Blue Heron
Canada Goose (one pair had three chicks)
Wood Duck (These were flying through the trees. I hope
they . were considering nesting

People we passed also added Immature Bald Eagle and Wilson's Warbler. I
also saw a Longtailed Weasel on the Crossdike. He was a cute little
guy.

On my way home I drove past the Everett Waterfront and was pleased to
see the Osprey back and on their nests.
