I never thought I'd say this, but does anyone have any ideas to
discourage pheasants from wheat fields? Steve is doing research on
root diseases, but they're having a hard time testing their research
because the pheasants eat so much of the seed. Fake owls have been
tried without success. The plots are on the WSU campus so that has
to be taken into consideration.

Does anyone have any ideas that might keep these birds alive?
