I have recently had a pair of pileated woodpeckers at my suet feeder. I
believe that one was an adult and the other a ( fledgling ) because the
adult was feeding the young bird. Also the coloring in the young bird was
very light and the adult was very red. We have had the two adults coming
to our feeder several times over the last year, this is the first time we
have seen a fledgling.

I am a novice birder, but I want more information on how to bring them here
more frequently. Will you please guide me in the right direction? Sincerely,

Heather Kelty
