This is Kas Dumroese with the northern Idaho / eastern Washington /
northeastern Oregon bird hotline.

A NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD, SEMI-PALMATED PLOVER, and an
alternate-plumaged SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER were the highlights at
the Umatilla NWR in southern Benton Co., WA on July 26. Craig
Corder and Judy St evens saw all of these birds in the Paterson Unit of
the refuge, near the large pond. Also there was a single
SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER and 4 LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS. WA
DeLorme 28, A-3.5.

Who knows what else is around? We all better get out and start
looking.
