Tweets,
Despite being disappointed at the Kent Ponds not having much in the way of
Shorebirds this afternoon, my spirits were raised by the nice little
variety at Montlake Fill on the main pond.
Present were:
1 Spotted Sandpiper
3 Killdeer
8 Least Sandpiper
4 Western Sandpiper (2 Juv.,1 molting adult, 1 somewhat
worn adult but retaining much of its breeding plumage)
And last by best of all 1 Juv. Semipalmated Sandpiper!
Also present on the main pond was 1 female wood duck and 1 juv. Bullock's
Oriole.
