We went "Roughie" hunting today. We left home and headed for Wilbur,
then to Creston--South to Swanson Lakes and came back to the highway
near Davenport--into Spokane and then back home. Traveled 200 miles.

We IDed ?? the below listed Raptors:

American Kestrel---31
Red-tailed Hawk---12 photo
Northern Harrier---5 all females
Swainson's Hawk---2 photo
Ferruginous Hawk---1 photo
Rough-legged Hawk---0 you know what--I think it is too early for
them. :-)
Oh ya-- Short-eared Owl--1 Their flight, to us, is very much like the
Common Nighthawk.
