In late May or early June, I observed a pair of swifts on Moore Street
just west of Olympia High School near the mouth of the Deschutes river.
I observed a dive and believe that the bird went into a chimney. This
was at about 8:00 a.m. I suspect nesting in that chimney but I am not
sure. Maybe there are quite a few pairs nesting in chimneys around
Olympia...???
