Greetings,
In a word, no decisions have been made (the first
possible release day would be this Saturday)(to the very spot from
whence he came, to be hurled from a speeding van into the waiting jaws
of the half coyote beast)(well, maybe not speeding;-) but seriously, I
was up late, thinking I heard a chirp(I didn't:-), wondering what to
do... thinking I heard a chirp(I didn't:-), tossing and turning...
pulling a muscle in my back, (gees your not even safe in your own bed:-)
thinking I heard a chirp(I didn't:-)...
OR construct a habitat for "BE" in the sage room.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO CONSIDER...
This little guy is no stranger to people. In fact "BE" is quite tame,
while I was changing his water, he climbed up my hand, up my arm across
my chest and down the other arm to look around and settle in my other
hand. He has no fear of people, he perks up, as opposed to hiding. no
elevated heart rate. just curiosity. His response to what should be a
predator is not encouraging. just curiosity.
MORE BACKGROUND: "BE"'s home at Blue Earth Lake, is camp site. He HAS
people skills! (and a penchant for vehicles and the open road:-)
I need to decide by Thursday, if he is to be released this Saturday, the
next release window (to bring him back home) is in Sept.
OTHER NOTES- the area is being ravaged with clear cuts!
Not revving up the chopper, J.
PS> the replies I received (surprised me in that) half said keep him
half said let him go, no matter the consequences(?)(even to just kill
it, or let him go in the yard...(?)
"Blue Earth"... resilient may he be, invincible he is not.
Yesterday I was convinced he was going home. now I am VERY
undecided.???? NO I am not looking for a pet. hmmm... a habitat for
"BE"... in the sage room... the blue earth room...

PSS> more (revealing:-) photos of "BE"...
