Nice to see Contance's post about the mini-fallout of warblers at the
Montlake Fill. There have been good numbers just about every morning
this week (although I haven't seen MacGillivray's or BT Gray lately -
mostly Yellow, Orange-crowned and Yellowthroat).

I went to the "fill" Saturday afternoon and had a mini-fallout of
swallows. There were many juv. Barn Swallows roosting in the trees
around the central pond. Slowly they were joined by a few juv. Tree
Swallows and then a single adult Bank Swallow and then a Northern
Rough-winged. The Bank was roosting right next to a juv. Tree and it was
surprising how much they looked alike except for the distinct breast
band on the Bank Swallow.

Always something good at the fill. (I'm headed there now)
