The martin boxes at Luhr Beach are looking pretty decrepit now, I wasn't
sure if they were used this year; looks like they could use replacement or
refurbishing. I'll be there all week and will keep an eye out for activity.

I think the refuge may be closed for quite a while, maybe a couple months,
and yesterday the gate was clearly posted with a sign reading "closed".
I've been doing work from the Luhr Beach boat ramp. Perhaps more precise
closure information may be obtained from the refuge web site.
