Martins were present all summer at Luhr Beach at the McAllister Creek
mouth. I was there most recently on 8/17, and counted eight birds,
including several juveniles. On Sunday, 8/23, I saw four martins out at
Buoy "1" in the Nisqually Reach, feeding and occasionally landing on the
buoy iself.
