Hi Tweets,

The seemingly elusive purple martins were seen briefly by Kris Baker and
myself this morning by Luhr Beach at the mouth of McAllister Creek, about 6
individuals. We spent the entire day boating in the area, but saw martins
for just a few minutes around 10:30 am.
Other highlights today included a merlin and 3 phalaropes, as well as a few
aeshnid dragonflies.
