I realize this is late in reporting, but my wife Pipper and I were birbing
Wednesday evening, Aug 19, just north of Damon Point at Ocean Shore,Wa when we
spotted an American White Pelican. The large bird provided some good looks
through my scope before it continued flying North. Checking Bob Morses book
on Birding Ocean Shores I saw no mention of an American White Pelican. Is
this an unusual bird for here? Or do they pass through regularly? Doug
