Hi Tweets,

I'll post the Aug. 22 Wesport pelagic trip results when I get the final
tally from Terry Wahl, but I thought folks might want to know that they had
a Manx Shearwater close to shore (right off the Wesport Jetty) on Sat, Aug.
22th in the afternoon. According to Bruce Labar, the bird was well seen
sitting on the water by all on board and then took flight as the boat
approached. Anyone on the coast this weekend, might want to take a close
look at any shearwaters visible from shore. This is the third or fourth
Manx Shearwater seen this year off the Washington coast.
