This reminds me of a dear, dear friend who called me one night crying
hysterically about the cougar in her yard. Earlier that year, she and
her husband had abandoned City-life for a cabin in the woods just above
the town of Greenwater east of Enumclaw. Oddly enough, the idea of
wildlife in her yard surprised her. She was expecting.........?

So, again this year I get another call, same friend. Cougar is still
out there somewhere now joined by a bear she saw just the other
evening. Since the time she sighted the cougar, she has hosted elk,
deer, and scads of other wildlife types. Amazing she still doesn't get
it that bear and cougar are part of the same experience.
