Here is a highly "sniped" article. Check out the last paragraph.

The best seats from which to observe the rich birdlife of Panama's Soberania
National Park will probably be at the Canopy Tower, a new rain forest lodge
opening Dec. 1.
T'he tall silo-like building, converted from a former radar installation built
by the U.S. Air Force, sits atop Semaphore Hill in a well-preserved forest, a
30-minute drive from Panama City.

"This hill," is considered one of the best birdwatching areas in Panama, and
from the Canopy Tower, you can easily see birds that inhabit the uppermost
layer of the forest, which are normally very hard to see.

Guests are accommodated seemingly right in the trees on the third level.

The six double rooms each have private bathrooms and hot showers. There's even
a special hook by the showers for binoculars, so that bathers may scrub up yet
keep up with the toucan- and parrot-spotting.

I guess you would have to make sure you have waterproof bins. :-)
