Today, Friday, Dec. 4, we headed off to Tenino to look for the White-tailed
Kites. Found one perched in the top of a small decidous tree (seen from the
quarry ) but didn't see any hovering. However, in the Skookumchuk Habitat
Management Area, had a group of12-15 Wild Turkeys! A friend had told us that
we could find them in this area and there they were. Have never seen this
many at one time in one place before. Anyone with similar sightings?
