We live in a log house with a 45 ft. log support beam That runs through the
main living area. You haven't heard anything until you hear my resident
Hairy drumming on that at 5:30 in the morning.
My neighbor has an 1946 airplane with fabric covered wings that the
flickers found a couple of years ago (holes in wings not a good thing) We
mounted plastic 5 gallon pails on poles around the area that seemed to be
attract them away from the plane.
