Today, Dec 7-98, for the second day in succession, a Brambling was
observed at Blackie Spit. The bird was first observed yesterday
afternoon (Mary Peet-Leslie) associating with American Goldfinches.
Today the Brambling was seen in a mixed flock of sparrows including
Golden-crowned, White-crowned and Song. The bird has been seen in the
branches of various species of deciduous trees as well as lower shrubs
along the shore of Farmers Slough.

The bird has been seen by many observers.
