Is there anyone out there that could and would furnish some good DeLorme
type directions for finding the acorn storage tree mentioned in this
posting from the BIRDBOX? I'd been told by several people that the ACORN
WOODPECKERs around Lyle had disappeared, so it's nice to learn they're
still around. I'm leading an Aududon field trip through the Lyle area in
mid May and it sure would be nice to be able to show them something
special. I've no experience with this species - does someone know how
likely it would be that they could be located in the vicinity of this
storage tree at that time of year?
