I have added Jack Bowling's version of my Short-eared Owl picture to the
page. http://hale.pepperdine.edu/~jlrosso/shearowl.htm. He neutralized the
color of the bird so he could get a better look at it. I think that this
makes this the first interactive gallery that I know of.

I am in the last week of finishing up projects for my first trimester of a
Masters Program in Education Technology through Pepperdine University. As
soon as this is finished I will summarize the many notes that have been
posted about this bird.

I find it intersting that the overwhelming opinion is that it is a
Short-eared Owl but there is very little consensus on how people arrived at
that identification. It has been a great process and has been great
commentary on the work I am doing for my Masters.
