Hi folks,

This is a pretty esoteric request - but I thought that perhaps someone on
the list might have a handle on some acoustic sampling equipment.

Please respond to Ms Smith at asmith at biology.queensu.ca , not to me.

Subject: [SEABIRD] acoustic equipment

I am a graduate student studying seabird distributions in relation to
oceanography and prey characterisitics in Clayoquot Sound, British
Columbia. I'm interested in knowing if anyone has used acoustic equipment available for sale. I am particularly interested in a digital split-beam sounder with frequencies of 120 (or 200) and 400 kHz, although I am willing to use a single-beam instrument in the 120 or 200 kHz range.

Thanks,

Andrea Smith
