Every Dec. for the past few years a single female Common Goldeneye has shown
up at Larsen L. which is at the North end of the Lake Hills Greenbelt. It
stays there about two months while a male COGO shows up once or twice. The
female appeared on the lake this morning right on time in Dec.

Also, of note yesterday, I saw 10 Band-tailed Pigeons in one of the tallest
fir trees in the area.
