Then you folks like me, that doubt that there was only ONE invasion of
humans onto the north american continent, TWO, they came only from the
northern hemisphere, and THREE, they walked. I am of the opinion that, the
during the ice ages, when the sea levels were WAY below what they are now,
lets say down 300 to 400 feet, the first Americans came by boat. No, not from
the north, from the west. Look at the peopling of the island chains in the
the South Pacific. They made their way east, all the way to Easter Island,
where they stopped a couple thousand miles from the Western coast of South
America. What stopped them?
Lots of water? To a people that crossed the Pacific ocean? Yes, there's miles
of water, NOW. Drop the water level to Ice Age levels over the East Pacific
Rise. That's a chain of seamounts that must be a thousand miles long. Why is
it not possible that those were islands at one time, allowing the first
pioneers to hopskotch their way completely to the coast of S.A.?
Evidence of human habitation in south America goes WAY back...25,000 years,
the last I'd heard. This certainly is a long time earlier than the
conservative 10K that the land bridge theory espouses.

Did anyone read the little blurb in the TNT a couple weeks ago? That where
parts of American Samoa are no longer habitable because it's permananentl
underwater now.
