This is #1 ID problem in Wheeler & Clark's "A Photgraphic
Guide to North American Raptors. They devote 3 pages of photoes
to the problem... p. 169-171

If you don't already own this book, maybe Santa will
leave it under the tree (if you make the appropriate
hints... :)
