During the Leadbetter CBC on December 19th a flock of 20 White-winged
Crossbills were observed in the Willapa Bay Estate in Bay Center, WA. The
Crossbills were observed for about 5 minutes with the white wing bars well
noted. The observers have submitted supporting details for the observation.
Hopefully, other CBC's in the western parts of Washington and Oregon
will now be aware of the possibility of observing the Crossbills.
