Well, I just heard an interview on the radio with the fellow that lost the
birds and he said the thrushes were Laughingthrushes of three different
species, one being the White-crested Laughingthrush. I didn't catch the
other two species. These birds escaped and scattered from the aviary on 0
Ave (within feet of the Canada-US border) and near the Surrey/Langley
border.
The White Rock / South Surrey CBC this Saturday may produce some interesting
sightings.
