Hello, Tweeters. In the midst of our blizzard in the midwest this =
weekend I found myself with the luxury of some available hours and chose =
to spend them researching birding information on the Internet. I =
located several mailing lists and interest groups and subscribed to a =
few, Tweeters being one of these. I selected Tweeters because my =
husband and I currently are researching a possible move and Washington =
State is one location that we are considering. We hope that this next =
move will be our "last" move and therefore plan to select the "perfect" =
location for our interests. We have a daughter and son-in-law who =
reside in the Seattle area, which is a big draw for us. However, =
another VERY important factor is the birding in the area. Just from the =
messages I have had the pleasure of reading this weekend, it is evident =
to me that you have outstanding birding! =20

Presently we live on 5+ acres in the woods, in northeast Indiana. The =
birding here is great, and our birds are especially appreciative of our =
feeders with our current weather conditions. Even in the midst of our =
near-blizzard conditions yesterday, they were at the feeders =
continuously. Wherever we would move, owning some wooded property would =
be essential. To us, the land is a more critical factor than the house, =
and a real dream would be to find property that has been naturally =
landscaped to attract birds and other wildlife. If any of you have any =
suggestions for us, we would appreciate it very much!

e-mails. Now I must assist my husband, as we try to get our furnace =
back on! =20
