Subject: another gull on the Dark Side

Hi tweets,

Ruth Sullivan asked me to try to help untangle the "multiplying
Slaty-backed" problem, so I just put another of her photos on the web. If
you're interested in such arcana, you can find it with the others at
<http://www.ups.edu/biology/museum/gullphotos.html>. Look under "Gull 4"
for this latest addition.

Again, if you can't access the web, I'll append my conclusion here. The big
dark gull with the big pale bill at Gog-le-hi-te is a Western Gull, in my
humble opinion. Is that the sound of an eraser I hear?

Happy pondering.

Dennis
