Event: Ross Matteson will give a one hour talk titled "The Relationship
Between Artist and Subject" in room 201 of the Washington State Convention
Center, in Seattle, WA. The talk will include a live gyrfalcon, slides of
exotic travels and examples of his most recent work. This free
lecture will take place Saturday, February 7th from 4 to 5pm, coincident
with the "Northwest Flower and Garden Show". It is sponsored by the
Northwest Stone Sculptor Association's "Sculpture '98", an exhibition of
67 sculptures by 61 artists, (on display at the Washington State Convention
Center until March 12th.) Olympia artist Ross Matteson's bronze
sculptures are in public, private and corporate collections in over a
dozen countries worldwide.
