Subject: [SEABIRD:710] Field assistants needed

VOLUNTEER FIELD ASSISTANTS needed for studies of the behavior and ecology of
the Common Tern at Bird Island, Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. Fieldwork will
begin in early May and continue through late July. Duties will include
censusing, behavioral observations, monitoring nests and chicks to determine
reproductive success, and data entry. Applicants should have basic knowledge
of biology and ornithology, willingness to work long hours, willingness to
learn and adapt, and the ability to live and work well with others. Room and
