If anyone is planning to bird in the Vancouver Lake lowlands watch for a
possible RED-SHOULDERED HAWK seen on 2-9-98. The person who found it was
fairly certain of their I.D. and gave a good description of a
Red-shouldered Hawk. The bird was seen between the Flushing Channel and
the farm to the South, and flew across the pasture to the trees along Old
Lower River RD.
