what a photo sent as a JPG looks like in letters and symbols, take a look at
this one.

I was "edified" for sure!! I don't mean this in an unkind way, nor am I
suggesting that photos should not be sent to the list (this one downloaded
quite easily, but, I, too, subscribe to AOL). This is more a matter of
curiosity satisfied.

I just looked at 'most recent' tweeters messages on the website too. Holy
Cow!!! Oh crash and burn! Anyone who is *actively subscribed* to the list
and receiving tweeters email messages *item by item* it seems can download and
view JPG files just fine as appears to be the universal case with the attached
Red-throated Loon image based on many replies. Thanks everyone. HOWEVER!!!!
In the website/digest (or just subscribed digest too I presume) such a
conversion is impossibe and such a posting 'read' there is an unbelievable
disaster.

OK, test complete. This will never happen again. I am really red-faced and
embarassed but totally *edified*. I don't know what happens to attached text
files either, but for now and to be safe, I think the golden rule for message
board postings is *NEVER ATTACH FILES*. Dan Victor; any comment? Again and
especially to you tweeter digest readers and other wayward vagrant cyber
travelers, please accept my sincere apologies. --Richard
