My wife and I observed an immature Golden Eagle yesterday on the Skagit
flats. The bird was standing near the edge of a slough due East of the
South end of the Padilla Bay Dike Trail. We watched it for about 10
minutes before it flew West across the road (sorry, I don't know the
name of the road - it's the road that leads to Bayview from Highway 20)
to a dike.
