Hi tweets,
Carole Sheridan just called and said the Laysan Albatross that was in the
care of HOWL died and was necropsied (= made unavailable to
museums/educational institutions that would have cherished it as a
specimen), so there have been two of them in Puget Sound this week!
The HOWL bird supposedly came in on a barge. Did the Gig Harbor bird make
it on its own locomotion? Sounds like it's time to take some ferry trips.
