While not in Washington, Oak Island on Sauvie Island (which lies
just across the Columbia from Ridgefield NWR) might be described
as being white-breasted nuthatch heaven.
There are even more oaks on Oak Island (now a penninsula, actually)
than the name implies.
I realize you're not looking for Oregon data but thought folks might
find the information interesting...
