Ohh excellent Hal! This is the first time I've heard anyone specifically
reference this area to the presence of Long-eared Owls. During my January
trip which included this very same Nunnalee Lake-Merry Lake access area along
Lower Crab Creek, I was thinking exactly how worthwhile it would be to come
back sometime and thorougly explore the vast Russian Olives sometime for
roosting Long-eared Owls. Thanks for the tip of confirmation! --Richard
