Hi Greg,

Yes, I was dismayed to see that spam infiltrate our list. I had received
another copy of it in addition to the one that hit our list.

Here's the actions I've taken:

1) Enabled a full header to see what domain it originated through and sent
my canned anti-spam message to postmaster at ilk.com and
postmaster at atlcom.net

2) Informed the Lists Manager and Computing & Communications at the UW.

3) Put the *From:* address in the Tweeters ignore file.

4) Spent some time considering whether or not to configure Tweeters to be
set to "SEND-BY-SUBSCRIBERS."

The last item I've been resisting, since we get some very nice postings
from non-subscribers. I think we should leave it as it is for now. But
if we continue to be invaded by these unwanted mass commercial postings,
we'll have to change the config.
