The wife and I are going up to Friday Harbor next weekend, we did this
a couple years ago and saw skylarks, although I think it's a little
early, there's usually that 'particular' individual bird.

So the San Juans and somewhere on Vancouver Island too. I'm sure someone
else will know.

We had a great time despite some blustery rainy weather. Highlight of the
trip was talking to the local ranger when we thought we had discovered
CARNIVOROUS BUNNIES, and he confirmed it.

That evening as we walked into town we noticed bunny logos on store
windows. Those store that didn't have them were usually out of business
or otherwise not doing well.

The waitress blushed and refused to talk to us when mentioned carnivorous
bunnies.

>From this we concluded that not only are these bunnies carnivorous,
but they've got some sort of bunny mafia control of the town, because
the ranger was a local (he could talk about them), the
waitress was from Oregon (if she talks, she's lunch).

Sound fantastic. Yup. But it happened to us, it's true and we've got
proof. We're also brave, we're going back.

We will take no pepper spray or shotguns and hope for the best.
