Ditto for my yard

I had almost nothing on Friday, and Saturday morning was slow, then
all of a sudden on Saturday about noon, it was like the ark unloading
- two of this and two of that and all the usual supects came into the
yard. As I was writing them down and looking up every few seconds, a
Red Shafted Flicker came into the yard at about 50 mph, followed by a
Cooper's Hawk about 10 feet off his butt, They both took a hairpin
into the neighbor's yard and I lost sight of them.
The accipiter was quite a bit larger than the flicker, and even
though I only had a two heartbeat look, I would bet it was a
Cooper's.
Then all the other birds left, too and it has been very quiet at the
feeders the rest of the weekend.
