I really believe that the Common Snipe really like rainy weather like this
morning. They seem to be more active and feeding out in the open. This
morning I saw 15 COSN in a muddy, grassy wetland just north of the boardwalk
which is west of Larson L. and 148th Ave. NE in the Lake Hills Greenbelt.
Before this morning I was regularly seeing from 4-12 in this area. There are
probably even more than 15 in the area as it is very difficult to see all of
them even with binoculars.
