Hi Folks,

I just read in the new "Ornithological Newsletter", published by the AOU, Wilson's O.S., Cooper's Ornith. Soc., and Ass. of Field Ornithologists, that there is a seabird biology course being offered here in the Pacific Northwest. For those that might be interested.

"BIOLOGY OF MARINE BIRDS, a 6-week university credit course at Bamfield Marine Station, on Vancouver Island, BC, 20 Jul-28 Aug 1998. Will feature individual field research projects in Barkley Sound. Taught by Dr. Alan Burger (University of Victoria) and Dr. Doug Bertram (Simon Fraser University), it is aimed at senior undergraduates and graduate students. For more information and registration, contact the University Programs Coordinator, Bamfield Marine Station, Bamfield, BC V0R 1B0 Canada (250-728-3301; info at bms.bc.ca; http://bms.bc.ca)."

Have fun this summer, eh.....
