Hi Tweets,

Someone mentioned about not being able to put up a feeder on the Aleutians
because of the lack of trees and shrubs. No probs there: most bird-feeding
places will sell ya tall or short iron rods with several different kinds of
base--some above ground, others buried--to choose from, from which to hang
any number of feeders (oil sunflower, plus niger-thistle, plus suet-cages,
etc.) from detachable hooks. There is no problem conceivable to the human
mind that wrought-iron technology cannot master! '-)

Oh boy, what a great place to have feeders, keep records, photograph and
even band birds and not-invite museum collectors with shotguns when
something new shows up.
