The rain let up on the outer coast this morning, but very few birds to be
found. A few notables and highlights:

Several Black-legged Kittiwakes at the Ocean Shores jetty.

Large mixed race flock of Canada Geese near Ocosta, east of Westport on Rt
105, including large pale, medium pale (parvipes?, Lesser?), medium dark
(occidentalis, Dusky), and small dark (minima, Cackling).

One Great Egret just east of Westport on Rt 105.

One Marbled Godwit, one Whimbrel, and three Willets at the Tokeland Marina.

Missed such hopefuls as Red Phalarope at Hoquiam and Ocean Shores and the
White-tailed Kite at Raymond.
