The north Seattle Blue Jay was a snap to find just 40 minutes ago. I parked
on Roosevelt at 105th St. (not parking on the interior, non-sidewalked
residential streets will lesson neighborhood impacts!), walked in on 105th
to 11th avenue, turned downhill (left) one block to 106th, left again about
50 yards to 10th Place NE, stood still for 15 seconds and said, "Hi!!"
As Gene noted, it is running around with Steller's Jays. Listen for them.
The jay was almost as good as the four-falcon day I had Tuesday on the
Samish Flats. Of course, if the gry had turned up, I could have skipped
'98.
