The Kirkland Parks Department will be holding a meeting on January 8th from
6:30-8:00 to get public input into the proposed trail that will link
Juanita Bay Park to Forbes Creek.

Some tweets may already know that many birders have objected to the
proposed path of this trail as it cuts through wetlands area that are
mostly undisturbed by human activities. The new trail will bring human
presence (and their bikes, dogs, etc.) much closer to these undisurbed
wetland areas.
